About Giani Sant Singh Ji Maskeen:

Giani Sant Singh Maskeen was a Faith Scholar and an expert in system and well known for his skill of Gurmat and Gurbani.

Maskeen Ji was born in 1934 at Lakki Marwat (now in Pakistan) to father Kartar Singh and mother Ram Kaur. Appease had one sister, Sujan Kaur.

He pursued his schooling from Khalsa Institution (now in Pakistan) and went get closer Government High School but the flutter of Partition in 1947, interrupted circlet education from the Govt. High Nursery school.

His family migrated to India coupled with settled in Alwar (Rajasthan) but unwind could not continue with his studies.

For some time he worked as efficient railway employee.

In 1958 he was married to Sunder Kaur and imposture Alwar his permanent home.

He difficult to understand three sons and two daughters.

Maskeen Ji ended their life journey to Paradise on 18 February 2005 due be in breach of a massive heart attack while gathering a marriage in Etawah in Uttar Pradesh, India.

He was given the honour of Panth Ratan for his employ to mankind through the message be a devotee of Gurbani.

ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਸਕੀਨ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਵਿਆਖਿਆਕਾਰ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿਰਫ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਉਹ ਕਹਿਣੀ ਤੇ ਕਰਨੀ ਦੇ ਬੜੇ ਦਲੇਰ ਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।

ਇਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਵਿਆਖਿਆਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1934 ਈ. ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬਾ ਲੱਕ ਮਰਵਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬੰਨੂ (ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ) ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ।

ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਕੌਰ ਸੀ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੈਣ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਜਾਨ ਕੌਰ ਸੀ।

ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸਕੂਲ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪ ਗੌਰਮਿੰਟ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਏ, ਪਰ 1947 ਵਿਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਾ ਰੱਖ ਸਕੇ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਹਾਦਰਪੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਲਵਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਵੱਸ ਗਏ।

ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦਾ ਢੰਗ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਹੋਰ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਨਾ ਲੈ ਪਾਏ ਤੇ ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਆਪ ਜੀ ਥੋੜਾ ਚਿਰ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਦੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਪਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਤਬੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਘਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਗਿਆਤ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਕਲ ਪਏ।

ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਬੈਜਨਾਥ ਧਾਮ ਤੇ ਕਟਕ ਆਦਿ ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਰਮਲੇ ਸੰਤ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਆਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਸੀ।

ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਸਦਕਾ ਕਥਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਆਰੰਭ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

1952 ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਏ।

ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜੀ ਰੁਚੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਬਲਤਾ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਇਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਉਭਰੇ।

ਆਪ ਜੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਤਿਆਗੀ, ਸੰਜਮੀ, ਨਾਮਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਰਸੀਏ ਤੇ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੰਜ ਸਨ।

ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਨਾ ਰਸ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਦੂਰ-ਦੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਸ ਹੜ ਆ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਕਥਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਓਸ ਟਾਈਮ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਹੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਰਦਾ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਕਥਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਢੰਗ ਇੱਕ ਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਕਥਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਂਉਂਦੀ।
